Cristina Motta

Neuropsychiatrist

Cristina Motta, born in Milan on 23/12/1967, graduated in Medicine and Surgery and specialised in Child Neuropsychiatry at the University of Milan. From March 1999 to June 2014, she worked as a neuropsychiatrist in the Autism Team, U.O. Neuroriabilitazione 2 di Psicopatologia dell'Età Evolutiva of I.R.C.S. Eugenio Medea- Associazione La Nostra Famiglia (Bosisio Parini, LC), where she dealt with diagnosis, treatment and rehabilitation care of children with autism spectrum disorders and training, and was referent for Asperger's syndrome.  From September to December 2001, she had a working and training experience in the USA at the Division T.E.A.C.C.H. (Division for Treatment and Education of Autistic and Related Communication-Handicapped Children)- Division of the Department of Psychiatry, School of Medicine, The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.  She currently practices in Milan where she deals with diagnostic evaluations in the field of autism spectrum disorders in general and where, with her team, AspergerLab - Milan, she carries out rehabilitation and therapeutic projects for children, adolescents and adults with Asperger's syndrome and their families, consultancy, information/training on the syndrome for colleagues, professionals, operators, schools and universities.  

Cristina Motta, nata a Milano il 23/12/1967, ha conseguito la laurea in Medicina e Chirurgia e la specializzazione in Neuropsichiatria Infantile presso l’ Università degli Studi di Milano. Dal marzo 1999 al giugno 2014 ha lavorato come medico neuropsichiatra del Team Autismo , U.O. Neuroriabilitazione 2 di Psicopatologia dell’Età Evolutiva  dell’I.R.C.C.S.  Eugenio Medea- Associazione La Nostra Famiglia (Bosisio Parini, LC), dove si è occupata di diagnosi, trattamento  e presa in carico riabilitativa dei bambini con  disturbi dello spettro autistico e di formazione,  ed era referente per la sindrome di Asperger.  Dal settembre  al dicembre 2001 ha avuto  un’ esperienza lavorativa e formativa negli USA presso la Division T.E.A.C.C.H. (Division for Treatment and Education of Autistic and Related Communication-Handicapped Children)- Division of the Department of Psychiatry, School of Medicine, The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.  Attualmente esercita a Milano dove si occupa di valutazioni diagnostiche nell’ambito dei disturbi dello spettro dell’autismo in generale e dove con la sua equipe, AspergerLab – Milano,  fa progetti di presa in carico abilitativi e terapeutici per bambini, adolescenti e adulti con sindrome di Asperger e le loro famiglie, consulenze, informazione/formazione sulla sindrome a colleghi , professionisti,  operatori, scuole e università.
